I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sophia! The breathtaking location right on the Hydra seaport made every morning special. The owner's warm hospitality, especially from Vasiliki, made me feel cherished. The communal breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh homemade dishes that fostered connections with fellow guests.
No private balcony in my room.

The breakfast was to die for – homemade goodness each morning! 😋 The room was clean and comfy, though the fold-out bed occupied too much space. Overall, great time!

Picturesque Maritime Views, Rich Historical Character, Multiple Lounge Areas
Noise from harbor activities often disrupts quiet moments!!! The shared balcony limits privacy for guests seeking solitude. Small bathrooms can feel cramped during longer stays. Better maintenance communication would improve guest comfort!!!

our stay at sophia was fantastic! the corner balcony room had an amazing view of the port. we loved watching boats and the hustle of everyday life in the town. breakfast was delightful and served communal style, which made for great conversations with fellow travelers. we were just a short walk from the center, making it easy to explore the beautiful city.
would recommend.

Best breakfast ever!
We just loved the breakfast! They made these fluffy scrambled eggs every morning that were just to die for. The staff even set up in-room breakfast for us one day when we weren’t feeling up to heading out. Just a heads up, climbing those stairs with our bags was a bit of a workout.

Perfectly located on the waterfront, access to stunning sea views from the balcony was a highlight. The welcoming hospitality from the staff added a personal touch that truly elevated the experience. Breakfast was delightful, showcasing high-quality products that left a lasting impression. However, carrying luggage up the stairs was quite a challenge, and the noise from the harbor did disrupt some quiet moments. Overall, a charming destination with many positives yet a few inconveniences.

I stayed in the Double Room for 3 nights, and it was cozy! The bed was super large and comfy, perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring. The décor had this charming old-world vibe, which was nice, but the room was a bit small. No private balcony, but there was a shared one with great views of the harbor that I loved sitting at. The warmth of the service really made it special too!

Such a charming spot by the port! My room had access to a lovely balcony above the hustle. It was a delight lounging there watching the world go by.
However, getting my suitcase up those stairs felt like training for the Olympics. Don't worry, I persevered—my fashion sense could not be thwarted!
